With overseas education started in 1986,FujianUniversityof Traditional Chinese Medicine (FJUTCM) is among the earliest universities that conducted TCM education and got the authorization to hold their own entrance examinations toTaiwanstudents.
OverseasEducationCollegewas founded in 1996 to undertake the work of recruiting, teaching and administrating of overseas students. Now  the  college  has  established a multi-level education framework including PhD, Master, undergraduate degree program and short-term training program. At present there are more than 300 overseas students in the university.

The overseas cooperation and exchange of FJUTCM has made great development in recent years. The university has established multi-lateral cooperative relationship with universities and institutions in more than 20 countries and regions in the fields of higher education, research, and medical treatment. Besides,  the  university  started  to  send exchange students toSwedenandTaiwanfor overseas education from September 2009.
